Kahiki Barcelona has been the city's reference tiki bar for almost 50 years. Kahiki Mataró is its most ambitious version yet: over 600 m² spread across several atmospheres, and the title — no less — of Spain's biggest tiki bar.
The atmospheres
Unlike a single-room bar, Kahiki Mataró is meant to be explored: there's a main bar area next to real fish tanks and a ceiling that mimics a starry sky, an outdoor terrace, and an indoor room with a dance floor and stage space, set up for DJs, stand-up comedy or presentations. Every corner has its own tiki decor, none of it repeated.
What to order
The cocktail menu follows the same philosophy as Barcelona: classic and signature tiki cocktails, served in the venue's own ceramics, often presented with fire or smoke. If it's your first time, letting the bar team recommend something is usually the best call.
How to book
For a regular visit, table reservations are made directly through the Kahiki Mataró website. If you're looking to privatize the terrace, the indoor room or the full venue — up to 500 people — there's a dedicated private-event form that asks what you need and replies with availability and a quote within 48h.
