2. What data we process
This Website has no forms that collect your personal data directly. The only data we may process is what you voluntarily provide when contacting us via:
- WhatsApp: your phone number and the content of the conversation, managed through WhatsApp Business (Meta).
- Email (kahikibarcelona@gmail.com): your email address and the content of your message.
- Phone: if you call us to make a reservation.
- Private event bookings through Privateaser, or event tickets through Fourvenues: these platforms act as independent controllers of the data you provide on their own forms; please refer to their respective privacy policies.
In addition, your browser stores locally (not on our servers) your chosen language, whether you've already seen the upcoming-event notice, and your cookie preference — see our Cookie Policy.
3. Purpose of processing
- Manage table and private event bookings.
- Respond to your questions about hours, menu or availability.
- Send you information about your booking or event once you have contacted us first.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is the performance of a pre-contractual or contractual relationship (your booking) and, where applicable, your explicit consent when you start a conversation via WhatsApp, email or phone.
5. Retention
We keep communications for as long as necessary to manage your booking or inquiry, and afterwards for the legal limitation periods of liability.
6. Recipients and data processors
We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. We use the following providers as processors or as third-party services integrated into the website:
- Meta / WhatsApp — messaging.
- Google (Fonts and Google Maps) — fonts and embedded map in the contact section.
- Fourvenues — ticket sales for Kahiki Mataró events (external link).
- Privateaser — private event bookings (external link).
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to kahikibarcelona@gmail.com, stating which right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of an identity document. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe the processing does not comply with applicable law.
8. Minors
This Website is not directed at minors under 14. Kahiki is a nightlife venue for adult audiences.
